The demonstration is a controlled environment
A factory demo typically uses clean parts, consistent lighting, and a prepared task. A production line includes changeovers, worn fixtures, network outages, unfamiliar operators, and pressure to recover quickly. A model’s usefulness depends on how the workflow handles these ordinary variations.
Begin by naming the operational decision: flag a suspected defect, prioritize an inspection, or suggest a maintenance review. Avoid assigning authority through an attractive interface. The people responsible for the process should understand exactly what the system may and may not do.
